The site sells nothing and delivers nothing. It provides no report, holds no accounts, takes no payments and is not a party to any purchase you make elsewhere. Its report links are advertising for the services of independent partners.
3. No relationship with sellers, manufacturers or platforms
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any vehicle manufacturer, seller, dealer, listing or auction platform or vehicle register. Makes, models and trademarks appear on the site only to identify vehicles and belong to their owners.
4. How the website is funded
The site is funded by commissions: when you follow one of our links and buy a service from the partner it leads to, that partner may pay us a share. The partner sets its own price and shows it to you before you pay; nothing you pay goes through us. Because of this, our links are advertising and not independent advice.
5. Automated partner selection and redirects
The partner behind a link is selected automatically by our system, for each VIN, on the basis of analytical data. We do not publish a list of partners, and the partner selected for a VIN can change at any time. When you follow a link you leave this site; your purchase is then governed by the partner’s own terms and privacy policy, and we never receive your payment details.
Questions about an order, a payment, a refund or the contents of a report go to the partner that sold it, through the contact details on its website. We do not guarantee that a partner is available for every VIN, or the quality, contents or price of what a partner offers.
6. Vehicle information
Vehicle information on this site comes from publicly available sources, including listings and records published by third parties, and from decoding the VIN. Details stated by a source, such as mileage or condition, are shown as stated and are not verified by us.
The information is provided for general guidance only. It is not an inspection, a valuation or professional advice, and it does not replace examining a vehicle and its documents before you buy it.
7. No guarantee
The site is provided “as is”. We compile and present its information with care, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date, that records exist for every vehicle even where events took place, or that the site is available without interruption or error.
8. Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own, non-commercial purposes. We may limit or block access from a connection that breaks these rules. You must not:
- copy, scrape or harvest the content of the site in bulk, by automated means or otherwise;
- use the site to identify, track or contact the owners or sellers of vehicles;
- interfere with the operation or security of the site, or try to gain unauthorised access to it;
- send unlawful, abusive or misleading messages through the contact form.
9. Intellectual property
The design, texts and compilation of the site are protected by intellectual property rights. Content taken from public listings belongs to its authors and is shown for identification and information only; trademarks belong to their owners.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on information from the site, for the site being unavailable or containing errors, or for the services, websites or conduct of any partner or other third party. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or deprives you of your rights as a consumer.
11. Corrections and removal requests
We compile data from public sources and are open to requests about it. If you believe information on this site is incorrect or should not be published, send us a data removal request with the VIN or the page link. 12. Changes, severability and applicable law
We may change these terms when the site or legal requirements change; the date at the top shows the current version. If a provision of these terms is found invalid, the others remain in force. These terms choose no particular governing law: the mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you live applies where it is relevant.
